haha i DO hate landscapes. snow is hard to see especially in the dark, and trees... oh god. i usually just set up a still life, i always turn to ribbons if i have no other ideas. but ive got a bunch of reference photos for paintings i am working on. all your ceramics, try adding another element like sliced apples or placing them on a salad plate with water.
i like to do small one-sitting studies, like the snow. it was just a few hours, and its small!

Lately I can't figure out what to paint at night and nighttime is all I have nowadays.. there is no light to get me excited. what do you paint?
