Commencement Show

i wish i could have been there
your paintings have this quality that makes me want to touch them, not just the surface of the paintings, but every surface inside, like putty in my hands. and the colors are mouth-watering.

i guess they speak to a lot of senses
and that is really impressive

at my school here, it seems like everyone in the painting department is doing "abstract" work, and it's so terrible. just kitsch at its worst, bad, forgettable paintings, and so large, too. i didn't even have the desire to come close.
